At a recent event, we partook in the caperberries that perfectly accompanied the cheese tray. Don't be confused. They are from the same plant as capers, but different seasons yield different stages of growth and, therefore, flavor. Caperberries are actually the pickled buds of the bush. Quite yum as well served all alone or in many a Mediterranean dish.
