Mimosas are great accompaniments to any brunch. Champagne and orange juice. We went with a mid-range rosè and raw orange juice but get creative. The recipe is fancy light but you can add sherbet or fresh berries to jazz it up.

Our family cocktail hour is full of many different spirits but scotch whisky has been around for generations now as a chosen drink by mostly the gents. The word whisky comes from the Gaelic word "usquebaugh" which means water of life. It is no wonder with it's art-like creation process, the big debate over single vs. blended malt, and it's historical ties to monks who used it for medicinal purposes. Legend would even have it that St. Patrick brought the first spirit distillation process into Scotland via Ireland.
