I'm just back from a monthly friendship dinner and tonight the highlight was not the food. Though our main course was delicious (a shared large pizza featuring savory ingredients like grilled capsicum, marinated lamb, and local tomatoes), the meal started off with these brilliant bubbles below.
We were served 200ml bottles and these perfectly petite spirits packed a flavorful surprise. With citrus aromas and hints of red fruits, the palate is slightly sweet with peach, raspberry, and apple flavors. There is a drier character to this Rosé so Henkell has hit the mark for those who prefer less sweetness than other rosé brands.
